Jamie S. Kaplan, A Little about Me...

A landscape photographer since 2014 and an avid fan of all things "environmental activism," I've grown to love freelance work. After taking photos for the VTCynic (our local college newspaper) for two years, I realized my true passion was independent freelance. By my junior year of college, I'd started a small freelance business and by my senior year, I'd gained minute traction. Nonetheless, my business still hadn't taken off and aside from friends and family, I'd barely made more than a few hundred bucks. On top of this, I was taking photos daily, entering online contests, and had just graduated college! Then, while recovering from a college injury, I had some time to reflect on why I created this site.

The goal of my page isn't to just sell services and share photography with the world, but my site aims to raise awareness about state parks, national treasures, and global beauties, while taking to heart environmental concerns, and what we can do as individuals to make our currently struggling planet a little bit better. Let's capture the positives and understand how to lessen the severity of our planet's disposition.
